Advantages of silicone rubber in industry
Siltec produces articles in various hardness grades (10-90 Shore A) and colour variants (including transparent). In addition, various coating options can change the classic properties of silicone articles and make identification easier.
Upon customer request, your silicone components can possess the following possible material properties:
- Hardly burning and flame retardant
- Low toxicity and low flue gas emission
- Temperature resistant to cold and heat (-100 °C to +300 °C)
- Isolating, insulating and thermally separating
- Weather, UV and ozone resistant
- Resistant to ageing
- Few extractable components, therefore no-fogging of surfaces
- Talcumized or talc-free on request (for sealing or further processing)
All our silicone parts comply with RoHS and REACH requirements and are manufactured without plasticizers (BPA).
