Silikon-Technik Siltec was founded more than 40 years ago. Ever since, we have been manufacturing silicone components for medical technology, pharmaceuticals, food production, automobile manufacturing & road construction, aviation and aerospace, and other specialized industries at our location in Weiler im Allgäu (Germany). With more than 200 employees, Siltec relies on its many years of experience. Through in-house compounding, products can be delivered individually colored from white to black or transparent. Due to agile processes, we offer cost-efficient prototypes/pilot series as well as medium and large series. Naturally, our offer also includes available storage tubes, strings, and sheets. Siltec is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
Our company manufactures molded parts as well as extruded products. Production processes comprise injection molding, extrusion, compression molding and transfer molding methods, as well as in-house compounding. In the field of extrusion, sophisticated geometries, co-extruded and fabric-reinforced products are produced in addition to standard products. The company also has a portfolio of customization and finishing processes. Thus, profile frames and tube systems can be made from silicone semi-finished products. Various processes for joining and printing items supplement our offer.
The department of application engineering advises customers with respect to all their technical questions and issues regarding material selection. In addition, we offer development services, such as rapid prototyping and process qualifications. Our company has a construction department for manufacturing tools as well as a technical center for customer trials.
